Wild Animal Safari

We took DJ to the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain today and it was great! You get to ride around and feed a bunch of wild animals. DJ really liked it, except when the large animals stuck their heads in the van. I highly recommend visiting. You can drive your own car, or you can rent a van for $11. I would definitely suggest renting the van!

We took DJ back to the Ga Aquarium today and he seemed to enjoy it a lot more than last time! Here are a few photos. There are a lot more on my facebook if you are interested.

Fourth of July

We took DJ to watch the city's fireworks last night. He really enjoyed it! He got a little upset about the loud noise of the finale, but he loved everything else!

18 Month Pictures!

DJ was not in the mood to have his picture taken yesterday. But we did manage to get a few good ones of him and a least one of the family was all looking at the camera. Its not the best family picture ever, but hey, its the only one I got! Damon hates to have his picture taken.

More Outdoor Fun!

Our neighbor bought DJ this new pool! It is really neat. You hook the water hose up to it and it fills up with water. It has holes all around it so water comes out like a sprinkler. DJ really seemed to like it. He especially liked playing with his t-ball set in the middle of the pool!

Learning to Coupon Early!

Evidently, DJ watches me organize my coupons too much! He tries to play with my binder all the time. So, I decided to make him his on binder so hopefully he will leave mine alone! Seems to be working so far!

Sprinkler Fun!!

We bought DJ a Diego sprinker and he seems to enjoy it! Except when the water sprays him in the face.

He also really enjoys his Cozy Coupe. But he can't seem to understand that it is easier to get in the car on the side with the door!

Joy Ride with Brooklyn

Nana and Papa bought this neat little gator for Brooklyn and DJ to ride. They were able to get on it together the other day and had a blast! Brooklyn is a pretty good driver already, but DJ needs a lot of practice! He started trying to mash the gas, but he has no clue how to steer!

Moma's Little Helper

DJ loves to help Moma fold clothes. He is really starting to get into it!

Then he gets mad when he can't get himself out!!

1st Class Picture!

DJ's daycare had Picture People come out and take pictures. This is DJ's first class picture! I think they did pretty good job getting 8 toddlers to look in pretty much the same direction at the same time! But notice that DJ and two other boys are missing shoes!!! LOL!!

Easter Bunny 2009

We had DJ's picture made with the Easter Bunny yesterday. He wouldn't sit in the bunny's lap, but the photographer was quick enough to grab this shot!

But at least is was MUCH better than last year's picture. This bunny has to win the creepiest Easter Bunny ever award!

15 Month/Easter Pictures

Thanks to the wonderful photography studio, The Picture People, I was able to get four 8x10 pictures for less than $6!! I absolutely love their coupons and I am a member of their portrait club. But it is VERY hard to walk away without spending a ton. I just remind myself that I only have so many picture frames to fill and the less I spend each time the more often I can have his pictures made!

I love the close ups that I get here! They really capture his facial expressions!

I had to get one with the bunny. This was the only one that didn't look like he was about to kill the bunny!

I loved this one. They brought it out in a huge frame and it was so hard to say no to! (Nana, this is the one I got for you too!)

Taking George for a Ride

Damon came home the other day with this 4-wheeler for DJ. So far, he really seems to enjoy it and will ride/push it all over the house. Yesterday I caught him giving George a ride on the 4-wheeler! He has also become pretty attached to George lately! We may need to find another one to put up in case something happens to this one.

Nana's Books

DJ LOVES to "read" his books. When we go to Nana and Papa's house, we cannot keep him away from the books. He will pull every last book off the shelf before he can decide which one he wants to look at. If only he could put them up when he is done!

So Sleepy!

We went to Nana and Papa's this weekend and Nana took DJ and Brooklyn to get their pictures made. It must have been a very tiring experience!!
