15 Month/Easter Pictures

Thanks to the wonderful photography studio, The Picture People, I was able to get four 8x10 pictures for less than $6!! I absolutely love their coupons and I am a member of their portrait club. But it is VERY hard to walk away without spending a ton. I just remind myself that I only have so many picture frames to fill and the less I spend each time the more often I can have his pictures made!

I love the close ups that I get here! They really capture his facial expressions!

I had to get one with the bunny. This was the only one that didn't look like he was about to kill the bunny!

I loved this one. They brought it out in a huge frame and it was so hard to say no to! (Nana, this is the one I got for you too!)

Taking George for a Ride

Damon came home the other day with this 4-wheeler for DJ. So far, he really seems to enjoy it and will ride/push it all over the house. Yesterday I caught him giving George a ride on the 4-wheeler! He has also become pretty attached to George lately! We may need to find another one to put up in case something happens to this one.

Nana's Books

DJ LOVES to "read" his books. When we go to Nana and Papa's house, we cannot keep him away from the books. He will pull every last book off the shelf before he can decide which one he wants to look at. If only he could put them up when he is done!

We went to Nana and Papa's this weekend and Nana took DJ and Brooklyn to get their pictures made. It must have been a very tiring experience!!

The Ball Popper

Some friends of ours were invited to DJ's birthday party, but they were unable to make it. They recently brought his present over to the house. And he LOVES it! He has played with it all day. It didn't take him long to figure out how to make it work either.

We took DJ to the Georgia Aquarium today. He really enjoyed looking at all the fish! He did not like being in the stroller though and wanted to walk around. Next time we go, I will have to keep him on a leash!

This tank is where you can walk though and the fish are swimming above you. It is really neat! (oh and we had a shirt change thanks to all the drool from cutting his top molars!)

They have a 4D movie about how humans affect the sea life. DJ really liked it except when they sprayed everyone with water, THREE times! It was a really good 3D movie.

I think we wore him out. He was asleep less than 10 minutes after we got him in the car!

Enjoying the outdoors!

The weather was awesome this weekend, so we took advantage and played outdoors! We bought DJ this new Adventure Climber. It is a little big for him right now, but I am sure it won't be long before he is crawling all over it! He really enjoyed the slide!!

He is going to make a great husband one day!

DJ's new favorite activity is to mop the kitchen floor! He will drag my Swifter all over the house. Already getting him trained!!

DJ's New Car

We got DJ this car a few weeks ago. It has finally been nice enough on the weekends so that we can get out an try it out. He is unsure about riding in it, but he really enjoyed pushing it around and playing with it!

Just need to back up here a little bit! He could push it backwards a little.

Two Tornados!

Nana, Papa, and Brooklyn came out to visit DJ last weekend. DJ and Brooklyn had a lot of fun together. Between the two of them, I think they played with just about every toy that DJ owns! Brooklyn really enjoyed playing with DJ's workbench.

Valentine's Day

I took DJ back to Picture People again this year for his Valentine's Day cards. I also got these two pictures for free! I love when Picture People sends out their coupons!!

If you think he cannot reach it....

Move it back 5 feet!! DJ had some yogurt with dinner last night. When I thought he was finished, I went to run his bath water, leaving him in the highchair. I put the container of yogurt on the table and thought he could not reach it. Boy was I wrong! Not only could he reach it, but he has decided that it is more fun to eat yogurt with his hands!

DJ got several Little People sets for Christmas. He is really starting to like playing with them. But how in the world do you keep up with all the little people?? He carries them all over the house!

He also got this neat toy for the kitchen. It is a car wash magnet set. (Thanks Aunt Heather and Uncle Brandon!) Finally something to keep him out of my cabinets. He is starting to carry the magnets all over the house trying to find something else they will stick too. He has realized that they will stick to the garage door and the dishwasher already. Hopefully he won't discover that they will stick to the stove!

Fixing his New Car

Nana and Papa got DJ the Lightening McQueen car for Christmas and Santa brought him some tools to work on it with. Here he is showing Daddy how to fix his new car!

DJ and his new Tricycle

DJ's aunts got him a tricycle for Christmas. A few weeks ago, it was warm enough for us to get outside and try it out. I really think he is going to enjoy this come spring/summer. Thanks Aunt Kathy and Aunt Laurie!!
